You must declare on the application form whether you have been to Egypt before. If this is the case, you must indicate where and when you have been in the country. Special characters in the name, such as umlauts and diaeresis, are not accepted by the immigration serviceʼs system. The top of these two lines contains your name (right after the country code). Is your name spelled here as it is on your visa? Is the spelling mistake not related to a special character? Then you have probably misspelled your name and the visa is invalid. Is there a name of someone else on your visa, or is a part of your name missing? This may be due to the automatic completion function of your browser.
